Our Fundraise for Package Manager on ICP Blockchain

We started to raise funds for Package Manager on ICP Blockchain:

IC Pack is the package manager for Web app on ICP blockchain. This project revolutionizes SaaS giving users full control over installed app. This means that the app cannot be removed without your consent (that happens when a SaaS bankrupts), cannot be updated without your consent, and its platform cannot be hacked. Thus the user becomes self-sovereign about their Web apps. Needless to say that it is a complete revolution in SaaS.

IC Pack is a SaaS package manager. It allows to install apps for user’s usage, as if they were on their own computer. While you pay for hardware your app works, no matter what happens with app’s provider. But you have much better protection of one app screwing another than if they were installed on your computer. Also you pay for hardware only as much as you use it: you would not to pay for your computer at nights and at dinners, when you don’t use it. In a short future you will receive for your personal use unlimited (for a short time) computing power for your AI tasks, without paying for a super-computer, etc. So, you have advantages of both worlds: SaaS and your PC. And your apps are crypto-enabled.

This project won 2nd place (including $2K cash and $25K grant) in Open Internet Summer 2024.

This software will be released open source (now it is not yet released). The release is expected in 6-10 months from now.
